Ola Electric has launched 2 new variants of S1 electric scooter in the Indian market. In this, the company has introduced Ola S1 and Ola S1 Air. These are in 2kw, 3kw and 4kw battery capacities. The company has launched this scooter at an initial ex-showroom price of Rs 84,999. The price of this scooter is up to Rs 1,09,999 for the variant with the highest battery capacity. The top speed of this scooter in all three variants is 85 kilometers per hour. Along with this, the company has introduced Ola S1 in 2kw, the starting price of which is Rs 99,999. The company has started booking for this scooter from today, but its delivery will be from March.
Ola S1 Air
The Ola S1 comes with a 2 kWh battery pack that is said to offer a range of 91 km (IDC) on a single charge. The battery powers the same mid-drive motor that generates 8.5 kW (11.3 bhp). Its top speed is 90 kmph. The S1 is available with a 3 kWh battery with a range of 141 km (IDC) and a top speed of 95 kmph.
This new electric scooter (OLA S1 Air) has a 7-inch touch screen display, 2.2 GHz 8 core processor, 4 GB RAM, Bluetooth, LTE-WiFi connectivity and GPS which can make your riding and digital experience very special. The scooter can be customized from the smartphone through the Ola Electric app. The company (OLA electric) has given the option to buy the scooter in five colours.
Ola Electric says that customers who previously booked the 2.5 kWh variant of the S1 Air during the Diwali reservation window will be upgraded to the 3 kWh variant at no extra charge. Ola packs a 2 kWh battery pack in the new variant of the S1 Air, with a full charge IDC range of 85 km, while the full charge IDC range of the 3kWh and 4kWh variants is said to be 125 km and 165 km, respectively.
With the Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro dominating the premium scooter segment, India is already one of the largest EV markets in the world. Grown in 3 new variants of S1 portfolio and S1 Air. Bookings and delivery
