Matter has today unveiled the Geared Electric Motor Bike. This will be India’s first geared electric bike. The feature of manual gearbox has also been included in this electric bike. Also, this bike has also been given the feature of anti lock braking system with 4-speed gearbox. A 5.0 kWh liquid-cooled, battery pack has been given in this bike. According to the company’s claim, this bike will give a range of 125-150 km on a single full charge.
Matter is a Tech and EV start-up company based in Ahmedabad (Gujarat). The company is going to make its debut in the Indian EV market. For this today the company launched its first electric motorbike in India. In the past, the company has launched its first Tec. Day where they announced two new products for India – Matter Drive 1.0 Motor and Dual Mode Converter and the company also got approval for their patents.
It is equipped with a 5 kW power pack. In view of battery safety, India’s first liquid-cooled electric two-wheeler battery pack is available. Various sensors have been installed at the sensitive places of the power pack which monitors things like temperature, current and voltage.
This bike has been designed in naked style. Its look is very similar to Yamaha FZ. Along with this, graphics with race numbers have been given on its body with LED headlamps. This bike has a 7-inch touch enabled infotainment screen, which comes with connected technology. It has features of push navigation, live location tracking, charging status, remote lock/unlock, vehicle health. This bike will come with keyless start feature.
Talking about the connectivity features of the motorbike, it gets processor, 4G connectivity and Android enabled 7-inch touch vehicle instrument cluster (VIC). Features like speed, gear status, riding mode, navigation, media, call control are available in it.
